Dora Keresztes finished her studies at the Book Design Department of the Hungarian University of Arts and Design in Budapest in 1977. She started her career as a book designer, mainly for children and contemporary Hungarian literature. Later, she got interested in film and theatre posters and became the art director and graphic designer of 'Muses' (Múzsák) Cultural Magazine in Budapest.
